“International Day of Forest” is celebrated worldwide every year on March 21st at the international level to ring a bell among society about the importance of forests and the scores of benefits that are gained from them. In 2018, the theme for the International Day of Forestry is ‘Forests and Sustainable Cities.’ The ideology behind this theme is to increase awareness of the contributions of forests to sustainable cities. The program was graced by Dean, PAC Vellore and Dr.Revathi Mam, Mr. M. Satheesh Kumar , Intern briefed about the significance of World Forestry Day highlighting the need of an hour to conserve the green belt. The program was attended by all the departments staffs, faculty members and students. Miss Faiza student representative extended the vote of thank.
